Rural Youth Initiative for Development (RYID) was established with a focus of breaking the Intergenerational cycle of poverty.Poor health to ensure all young people survive, learn, and are safe. RYID envisions adolescents and young people in all societies in and out of school to have the opportunity to build skills, network and have self esteem they need to make the transition to safe work and decent livelihoods.
RYID breakthrough ambitions cannot be fully achieved if families are too poor to invest in their children and young people. Improving family and youth incomes can help avoid these harmful practices such as non enrolment/completion of school, early marriage, harmful work and others. If we reduce child/youth poverty and increase basic incomes we will help children and young people survive, learn and are safe.
To apply sustainable innovative interventions in uplifting youth from poor health standards and poverty.
A society where young people live happier and satisfying lives.
